NY UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL - April 2nd - 8th.

WE ARE WIZARDS will have its East Coast Premiere at the NY Underground on Saturday, April 5th @8:45pm. That’s a prime time slot for the festival, and we’re honored to be included in this year’s outstanding line-up.

The two screenings are:
Saturday, April 5th @8:45pm
Tuesday, April 8th @7pm

(Harry and the Potters, The Hungarian Horntails, and Melissa Anelli will all be in attendance…woohoo!!) Make sure you get your tickets EARLY!! It will sell out!!!

AND -

The Sarasota Film Festival - April 4th - 13th

WE ARE WIZARDS is truly excited to be included in this prestigious festival. The film will have its South East Premiere at Sarasota in the Documentary Competition.

The two screenings are:
Saturday, April 12th 4:45pm
Sunday, April 13th Noon

We’re not sure what the seating capacity is, but as always, it’s best to get your tix early!!

“Like most great movies this one defies easy explanation…what it’s really about is a much bigger deal — the limitless imagination of kids, the notion of what it is to be a fan, intellectual property rights and about 50 other important topics. It’s all handled with such a beautiful balance, intermingling comedy and poignancy, that I surely hope it gets some steam coming out of The South by Southwest Film Festival.”

We Are Wizards has been invited to have it’s World Premiere in the SXSW Documentary Competition this year. It’s a huge honor for us, and we’re so excited to go and present the film at the festival. Woohoo!!

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped and supported this movie over the past two years. It’s been a long journey for us, and having the opportunity to screen at such a prestigious festival means a great deal to everyone involved. Hopefully the film will get a strong reception at the festival. More news soon!
